Atlantic College Student Housing architecture competition for Atlantic College Wales with General Designs, 2008

Students and staff live in houses that form an elegant terrace lining the existing roads of the hilly college grounds. A slow south facing crescent follows the main drive. Housedoors open onto the pavement. On a sunny day the doorsteps provide a spectacular place to sit and enjoy the view of the sea. Behind the terrace, the International Gardens bring together traditional gardening strategies from accross the globe to form an organic collage that responds to United World College's cultural vision.
