Sussex Way [ongoing]

Our client, the Greek Orthodox Church of St. Anthony the Great and St. John the Baptist required a new entrance are for their church to accommodate a small office, a candle lighting area and an enlarged entrance door so that large crowds attending weddings and funerals can be accommodated. A striking white zig-zag roof is carefully designed to integrate with the existing windows in the front facade. A lacen metal screen on the front elevation provides privacy and security while creating gentle dappled light effects on the inside of the church during the day and on the pavement at night.
